The 697 has been equipped with bottom feed, needle and alternating top feed as well as with fullness distribution control (optional at the top or bottom) and with a stitch loosening device. When attachine a shoulder pad, the stitch loosening finger (that may be engaged man jally or automatically) prevents the pad form being compressed.
